Welcome to CorpersBook, the social networking platform for Nigerian serving and ex-corps members. By accessing or using CorpersBook, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before registering an account or using any part of the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using CorpersBook, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
CorpersBook is intended for Nigerian graduates who are serving or have served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. By registering, you represent that you fall within this community.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. CorpersBook reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. User Conduct
When using CorpersBook, you agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Upload adult or explicit content — such images are detected and blocked
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the platform for spam, solicitation, or unauthorized advertising
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. Content and Posting
You retain ownership of the content you post. However, by posting on CorpersBook, you grant the platform a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the platform. Posts are subject to review before publication. CorpersBook may remove content that violates these terms at its discretion.
6. Pro Membership
Certain features — including uploading images, videos, and audio files — require a pro membership upgrade. File uploads are limited to 92 MB, and certain file types are not supported. Pro membership terms and any associated fees are displayed at the point of upgrade.
7. Friend Limit
Each user account is limited to a maximum of 5,000 friends.
8. Intellectual Property
The CorpersBook name, logo, and platform design are the property of CorpersBook. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of CorpersBook is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
10. Limitation of Liability
CorpersBook is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the platform's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CorpersBook shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.
11. Changes to Terms
CorpersBook may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
